We had the pleasure of catching up with Jessica Kwali, founder of Jessica Blair Beauty, as she celebrated the grand opening of her store in Historic Rosedale Park, Detroit. This thoughtfully designed beauty boutique is dedicated to Black-owned beauty brands, offering a curated selection of lashes, hair extensions, and premium beauty products in a modern and inviting space.
Jessica first connected with us through the Motor City Match program in 2022, with plans to open her first retail store on Detroit’s east side. After a name change and location shift, her dream has now become a reality. With aspirations for future store expansions, we congratulate Jessica Kwali on this milestone!
As architects and designers, we worked closely with Jessica to create a visually striking, functional, and welcoming beauty space that fit her budget. The store features intentional layout design, optimized customer flow, and an aesthetic that reflects the brand’s identity—ensuring that every visitor experiences a seamless and inspiring shopping journey.
