The waterfront lifestyle magazine Michigan Blue Magazine highlights an Infuz Architects custom home project that has been 10 years in the making.
Working with interior designer, Nicole Withers of Jones-Keena & Co. and South Channel Homes, this 4,600 square foot, 3 bedroom waterfront home was designed with family and fun at the forefront. Located on Harsens island, the property was developed to give a campus feel and includes a main residence accessible only via bridge, a fish shack, and a boat house with guest quarters all designed in a cohesive cottage style with 360 degree waterfront view. Outdoor amenities include an inground pool, outdoor firepits, boat wells, dining areas all taking advantage of that lake life.

Project challenges included site access, as travel to Harsens Island requires a ferry, grade changes, and a prolonged permitting process. We believe it was worth the wait though, as the campus layout provided a trifecta of outbuildings to suit the clients needs for entertaining and retreat.
