Suffolk Townhomes - Hubbard Farms, Detroit, MI

This project involved the renovation of an 8-unit, 2.5-story brick townhouse located at the corner of Hubbard and Porter Avenues in the Hubbard Farms Historic District, Detroit. As part of a designated historic district, all exterior modifications required approval from the Detroit Historic District Commission. Each 1,500 SF 4-bedroom unit features a small, private rear yard.

Planned Renovations

The client undertook a full renovation, with key updates including:

• The addition of a first-floor powder room.

• Upgrading the existing master bedroom to include ensuite bathrooms.

This project aims to modernize the interiors while preserving the building’s historic character.
