This middle eastern inspired restaurant and cultural destination, located within the mixed-use development, The Brooke on Bagley, brings the authentic taste and spirit of Yemen to Detroit. Designed to reflect Yemeni culture through both materials and atmosphere, the space blends traditional influence with contemporary design to create a warm, welcoming environment.

The layout offers a diverse mix of spaces, from bright daytime dining areas to comfortable evening lounges, designed to accommodate community gatherings and social connection. During the predesign phase, our team collaborated closely with the client to capture their vision and translate a Yemeni architectural and cultural identity into the space. Through thoughtful material selections, spatial studies, and detailed execution, the project brings to life a rich cultural experience that connects Detroit’s urban fabric with the heritage of Yemen.
