Alpine Inspired Restaurant - Corktown, Detroit, MI

The Alpine-Inspired Restaurant & Culinary Market is a groundbreaking restaurant and market concept design. Offering a unique culinary experience with three distinct service areas, this concept is designed to cater to diverse dining needs throughout the day while incorporating thoughtful architectural design and interior design elements that reflect the Alpine tradition. Our studio was responsible for the interior design and architectural design of the space, including custom features such as a stunning wine cellar wall and branded design elements inspired by the rustic charm of the Alpine region.

Our Alpine-Inspired Restaurant concept offers three dynamic spaces for customers:

  1. Coffee Bar & Bakery: The entrance area features a welcoming coffee bar, bakery, and pantry market. This space serves customers early in the day, offering fresh coffee, pastries, and high-quality Alpine pantry items.

  2. Casual Café Space: In the center, the café provides a relaxed atmosphere for lunch and dinner. Guests can enjoy meals made from fresh, Alpine-inspired ingredients while surrounded by the studio's cozy, yet contemporary design elements.

  3. Upscale Dining & Wine Bar: At the rear of the restaurant, we designed an intimate wine bar and upscale diningarea, perfect for evening dining. The wine cellar wall serves as a beautiful focal point, showcasing the curated selection of wines from the Alpine region.

Alpine-Inspired Interior Design: Rustic Meets Modern Sophistication

Our architectural design team focused on creating a space that blends rustic Alpine design elements with modern sophistication. The design features:

  • Rustic Wood Accents: Natural wood finishes and stone walls reflect the warm, inviting atmosphere of Alpine interiors.

  • Wine Cellar Wall: A stunning feature that highlights the culinary experience, the wine cellar wall serves as a centerpiece that draws customers in and enhances the overall ambiance of the restaurant.

  • Branded Design Elements: Custom fixtures and design details create a unified brand identity that ties together the different dining areas and contributes to the overall experience.

Strategy: Maximizing Revenue Through Multi-Functional Design

The restaurant's layout and design are strategically crafted to maximize revenue generation throughout the day. By dividing the space into three distinct dining and service areas, we ensure that the restaurant can serve a wide variety of guests at different times:

  • Morning: Coffee, bakery, and pantry items available at the entrance.

  • Afternoon: Casual café dining with a focus on lunch and casual dinner options.

  • Evening: Upscale dining and wine bar for late-night patrons seeking a more refined experience.

  •

This thoughtful design allows the restaurant to stay busy all day, enhancing both customer satisfaction and profitability.
