A town fixture since 1926, the St. Clair Inn needed a full historic restoration and a new program of amenities. The master plan for the seven acre property includes the north wing consisting of guest suites, food and beverage programming, and a banquet hall. Three new cottages were conceived to accommodate wedding parties and families. An outdoor pool and pool house with a waterfront bar was designed. A separate retail building was designed to house the hotel spa above. The historic Inn restoration was handled with extreme care and an innovative approach to handling new systems that are ‘invisible’ to the patrons. The inception of a prohibition style bar was implemented as well as the re-branding of the Dive bar.
