Infuz Architects is a full-service architecture firm that has been providing services for more than 23 years. Although primary registration is in the state of Michigan, our work spans a number of states throughout the country. We have offices in downtown Detroit and St Clair County, Michigan.

 

Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team who can foster new design opportunities in the Detroit and greater surrounding area. Experience in an architecture/design field is preferred so that you can communicate effectively with prospective clients, prepare accurate project proposals, and create appropriate marketing content to celebrate our work.

 

Qualifications:

  • Ability to network in the development marketplace and communicate with prospective clients

  • Architecture, design, and/or construction work experience preferred

  • Experience preparing estimates and/or RFPs/RFQs preferred

  • Experience developing web content and managing social media accounts preferred

  • Versatile, energetic, engaging

 

Duties

The Director of Business Development & Marketing will be responsible for:

  • Managing new project inquiries, establishing strong client relationships, and maintaining ongoing support and communication to active, as well as archived, clients. This includes responding to phone calls and emails in a professional and timely manner, and scheduling in-person meetings in a safe, and socially distanced fashion. Our team adheres closely to the State of Michigan guidelines during the pandemic.

  • Securing new work for the firm. This includes obtaining adequate information about clients and their projects and preparing design proposals. Occasionally new projects will require site visits and/or building walkthroughs for quoting purposes. For select projects, you may also prepare detailed Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and/or Requests for Qualifications (RFQs).

  • Onboarding projects internally. Once a project is activated, it will be your responsibility to appropriately inform the design team of client and project expectations. It will also be your duty to provide ongoing support to active projects and maintain consistent, honest, and reliable communication with our clients.

  • Frequently updating our online presence including the company website with new content, and keeping social media accounts active. Press releases will also be an important part of sharing project updates with our community.

  • Special Projects will require social event planning, new market opportunities, new business start-up development, and assistance to the principal.
